We are excited to announce our 100th project in the short history of Small Box. In just 30 months we have executed on many websites but perhaps none will have the impact on the quality of life for all Hoosiers as the Ning Communities we are establishing, promoting, and building for the Hoosier Environmental Council. Over the next months we will be using hecweb.ning.com to build awareness among Indiana colleges and universities for the Hoosier Campus Sustainability Reliance Summit October 3, 2008, and a second Ning Community for the general community of environmentally aware citizens.
With the upcoming national elections, the need has never been greater to use our community building experience to transform the political discussion as it relates to environmental issues in the state. Indiana consistently ranks near the bottom of all states in environmental quality of life. Small Box and the HEC share a commitment to turning this around.
As individuals and as a company, we support recycling and building towards a greener future in Indiana. The web is ideally contributing to a better environment for all of us, and the fact that an important milestone for our company is in line with our individual priorities makes it all the sweeter. Watch out for more information on the exciting developments at the Hoosier Environmental Council. They have opportunities for regular citizens to share in the responsibility for our world, and as we build towards November 4, 2008, all of us can look forward to lending our voices in the great democracy experiment that is the United States of America.
